“You have faith with Investor J, so I think there are no other reasons why you should refuse this,” Tatiana added.
Noah didn’t say anything more after that, making the carriage ride silent again. But, for some reason, Tatiana didn’t feel awkward the whole ride.
After a few more minutes, they have arrived in front of the Cromello’s Residence.
Noah stepped out and assisted Tatiana.
“Thank you, your highness.” She said and did a little curtsy.
“No problem, thank you as well. Tonight was truly productive.” Noah said and commented.
Tatiana smiled at him.
“Then, goodbye. I’ll see you soon, your highness.”
Noah nodded.
Tatiana was about to walk away when Noah grabbed her arm to stop her. She looked back at him, her face was obviously confused.
“What is it, your highness?” she asked.
Noah scratched the back of his neck. This was the first time Tatiana saw him do that, and she thought he was cute.
He was like a little boy being shy. Strange. I didn’t know His Highness was capable of acting this admirable.
“This weekend…” Noah mumbled.
Tatiana’s eyebrows furrowed.
“What about this weekend, your highness?” she asked again.
Noah hesitated more and averted his gaze from Tatiana. At that moment, a nearby tree suddenly became interesting to him.
Tatiana’s eyebrows furrowed even more at his strange actions.
What is he doing? She thought.
Noah still didn’t say anything, and Tatiana was growing impatient.
“Well…?” she uttered, her voice sounded kind of dragging.
Noah returned his gaze at her and cleared his throat. He exhaled deeply.
“Free your schedule for the weekend. Let’s have a date.” Noah finally stated, sounding very fierce.
It was a good thing it was very dark that Tatiana couldn’t see his flushed ears.
Tatiana wasn’t able to react quickly. His words were slow to process into her.
“W-what?” She managed to stutter.
“Let’s have a date,” Noah repeated. Tatiana stared at him with wide eyes, speechless.
“Then, that’s settled. I’ll fetch you this weekend.” He added before leaving.
Tatiana was left frozen on her spot. She couldn’t believe what just happened.
Did His Highness just ask me to date? A date?! So suddenly?!

The next day, the court trial of Baron Miller began as planned.
In the middle of the trial, Gresley was called in. It caused quite a stir since no one was expecting another suspect. Aside from that, Gresley admitted what really happened.
According to him, Baron Miller called for him while the Baron was still in prison. It happened a week before the bombing incident. The Baron asked him to look for reliable people to set a bomb in the capital plaza. He also specifically said to place the bomb near Count Neville and Count Acker’s businesses.
The result was obvious after that. With all the pieces of evidence laid out, Baron Miller has no way out.
In the end, the official’s final verdict on Gresley and Baron Miller was ‘guilty.’ Both were sentenced to execution through decapitation, which will be done at dawn tomorrow with the other assassins.
