"Want some coffee and cookies?" I glance at Nate and nod slightly. He disappears to the kitchen and comes back with two cups of coffee and a plate of cookies. He tosses himself on the couch, a few feet away from me. "That's Damien's ex." I sigh, reaching for the cup. "She wants him to be the best man at her wedding. Can you imagine?" "If your husband has completely moved on, that shouldn't be a problem." That's the problem. My husband hasn't moved on. But Nate doesn't need to know that. He knows more than enough about my life.
