Skylar’s pov
I have been going up to the hospital and bringing Tia food for the last week. I loved spending time with her. She kept telling me I didn’t have to, but she was glad I did. I could tell something was changing between us, and I liked it.
We held hands and even kissed a few times. I didn’t care how it looked to my employees I wanted to be with her. I know she has a lot going on in her life. She’s raising a baby, and now he’s sick. It’s a lot to handle. I just want to help her. She’s all alone.
I found myself counting down the hours until I could see her again. Spending time with her was the best part of my day. I hired a temp for now until Tia could come back to work. I wanted her to be able to take all the time she needed.
