Derek’s pov
I put a bid on the warehouse and apartments and was happy when the realtor told me I got it. Now time to see my vision come to light. I called up a construction company and got everything going. I was happy knowing my mom’s legacy would always be remembered. She would be so proud of me for doing this.
My wounded fighter’s charity was doing great as well. We have already raised over a million dollars. Oliver started at the security company now that he was doing better. I am making him do desk work for now.
He isn’t too happy about it, but I don’t want him rushing his recovery. I put him on taking care of the wounded fighter charity, and he’s happy doing that. He has actually met with some of the families, and wounded fighters. He has even started a support group.
