Aurelia'S POV
"Aurelia…" The familiar annoying voice rang through the phone. My muscles tensed, teeth clenching.
Flashbacks of the video with her and Axel resurfaced in my mind as I shoved the image back. Fortunately, it no longer hurt like it once did.
A few weeks ago, that video had shattered me.
I'd cried, raged, felt like my world was ending. Now? Nothing. Just disgust and maybe a hint of pity for how pathetic they both were.
The man I thought I loved for ten years turned out to be a stranger. Or maybe I'd been in love with an illusion. Either way, I was free of it now.
