Helpless. No one was coming to save me.

A loud sound thundered from outside the west wing. Axel's body went rigid.
"Do not mind the noise." Trevor's jaw clenched. "Continue."

Louder. Nearer. Screams of maids echoed through the mansion.
"Go check what the hell is going on." Trevor ordered Jayne. She obeyed.
"What is happening?" Elder Garrick growled, striking his staff on the ground.
"It's nothing." Trevor urged. "Continue!"
