My nails dug deeply into my palms as a trickle of blood dripped on his marble floor while I watched him in disbelief. "f**k you, Trevor!" I spat, then turned to walk away. Chapter 15Aurelia'S POV "You will not walk out on me!" Trevor roared. The ground shook. The glass doors shuddered, cracking. Murmurs erupted outside the office—his workers whispering in fear and confusion. Some tried to peek through the glass while others scurried away from the scene. "You don't tell me what to do, Trevor." I hissed, my back still turned as I reached for the door handle. A force yanked me backward. A harsh, resounding slap landed on my cheek. I lost my balance, fell to the floor, my face meeting cold marble. Blood filled my mouth. I lifted my head, staring at the man in front of me in disbelief.
