Oh shut up those word really irritated her

Phil stormed into his house with anger only to see his darling wife pouring herself a drink at the wine bar.

"Laura, what you did back there_"

"What I did back there was just minor. Listen now, this house and all your houses around the world, your cars, the company, this Estate, everything you ever owned, they now belonged to me. You signed everything over to me" she threw the file she was holding to him. He picked it up and damn it! She's right!

"Laura this_"

"You signed everything to me on thursday night. Don't you remember?" She sipped her red wine.

"You said it was a Deal you had_"

"With Season's fashion. Yes I remember." She walked majestically to the armchair, sat down and crossed her legs across her thigh.

"Laura this is absolutely Ridiculous! I gave you everything you ever asked for! I provided every single thing for you_"

"Oh shut up" those words actually irritated her ears. "Stop blabbing" she took in another sip.

"I am blabbing? What on earth would you gain by doing all these for Christ sakes!" Phil bursted out angry

"Money stupid! I would gain Money! Wealth! Thats it fool!" His wife who had just been playing cool a few seconds ago bursted out.

Phil was too surprised to believe this. The woman he had known for three good years had just changed in a twinkle of an eye. Since when did she develop such love for money, she wasn't the type who had such great love from money. Whats gotten into her?

She calmed herself with another sip, took a deep breath and let it out "That's in the past now, we should be looking for a way forward now. So are you going to sue me or what?"

This is insane. She was even suggesting what he should do to her?

"Laura why? After all we shared together. All the love I showered on you? Why? If you wanted all of my properties I would have glady handed everything to you. Why betray me like this?" He felt like crying for a moment.

She sighed. Untangled her legs and stood up to him "Why because? I don't Love you. I never did and I still don't. It was all for the money. I have it now, all thanks to you."

"You led me on for a whole 3 years just for money?" Ohhhhh, Phil was soooo shocked.

"Correct! You got the point." She smiled at him. She dropped the glass on the center table, folded her arms and faced her husband.

Phil could feel his heart tear into shreds. It hurt more to know that she never loved him. So All those nights, the love messages, surprises, hangout and all, was all just for the money! He was so broken. How could he have fallen for such a Gold digger? His eyes went all bloodshot. He stormed out of the house angry.

"When are we gonna see in court?" Laura yelled after him but her husband was not in his right state of mind to respond. He entered into his range rover spot and drove off like a mad man. He couldn't even concerntrate while driving. So many thoughts ran through his mind. His anger wasn't even based on his lost properties but for that single thought that Laura never loved him. She was simply fooling him all these years just because of money. Such length of betrayal. He quickly parked up at the roadside to get his acts together. He picked up his cell phone and dialed his bestfriends number.

"Chuks, We need to see"

"Is there a problem?"

"Where the hell are you man!" Phil yelled

"This is serious. Just head to my place, I will meet you there in an hour"

Laura expected a Lawsuit from her husband soon, not just a lawsuit but also a divorce paper as well. That's what her past victims did and because she had all the proofs and evidence she would and always win the case.

Today, she had this weird sorry feeling and Guilt in her after Phil had left the house. This was definitely a strange feeling to her. She never felt this way for her past victims. Never! So whats different about Philip? Could it be because he has been the only one who showered her so much love. Anyways, any normal human being would feel a little Guilt.

"I warned you! I warned you about this woman. Right from the first day I set my damn eyes on her, I got that bad vibes and I warned you. I warned you!" His angry friend yelled angrily at him. Chuks had never liked Laura right from the day she got introduced as his friend's Girl.

"I loved her for her person not body" Phil whose head was buried in the arms defended himself. Fine, it was her body that attracted him to her for the very first time, but when he got to know her, he feel in love with with her intelligence and smart mind.

"Oh Please! Spare me that bullshit. Her kind of Person? That's the evil spirit in her right? Dude, did is so.. so. Infact you're the fool of the year. Biggest fool! I hope this hasn't got to the media?"

"I don't know. Who cares?"

"You would have to care. Listen, this is how its gonna be like 'The CEO of Beauts Penny Jewelries was scammed by his Gold digging wife or better, the biggest fool of the year has stupidly signed all his wealth to his Witch of a wife'.... Man, you are so damn ruined." Chuks said as he roamed around the sitting room"Gosh, I need a drink." He left for the bar.

"Get one for me" Phil said. He could totally understand his friend's pain. Phil would have been like that or even worse if he was in his friend's situation.

Chuks got them a bottle of liquor and two shots. They gulped the drink at a goal and took in four more shots. After that their heads especially that of Chuks cooled off.

"So what are your plans?" Chuks asked as he settled for the two seated sofa. There was no way he would sit back and watch a woman ruin his Friends life.

"I don't know" Phil answered innocently. Sincerely, he didn't know.

"You don't know? Bro, are you mad or something? Sue the fuckin b***h!" Chuks said

Phil scoffed "She is even expecting that and that only means that she has manipulated everything. Perhaps, she has all the proofs"

"True" Chuks reasoned the whole thing. They were both silent for a while, before Phil broke the silence "Dude, the property is not even what hurts me, its the heartbreak. It hurts really bad. I just can't believe she never loved me. Its just so hard to_"

"SHUT THE f**k UP, MAN! You were the only one who was blinded by love to see her truth"

"No, I think you were the only one who saw her truth. Every other person liked her. I wonder how Mum and Sandra would feel when they learn her truth" Phil said. His family loved her so dearly.

His friend sighed. Phil was right. He was the only one who saw her truths.

On the other hand, How would Mrs Maduka take such news, to worsen it She's hypertensive. She might just die.

"Don't tell them. You would keep this whole mess to yourself, till you get your properties back" Chuks said

Phil nodded, he knew better than to tell his hypertensive Mother anything. He wishes not to see her Dead.

He was getting really tired. 'I guess the drink is at work' "I need to rest my head." He said to his friend, stood up and left for the only room in his friend's one bedroom apartment.
