Phil got into the bar, he spotted his friend at a corner, sitted on a sofa talking to someone. He walked up to his friend. "Chuks what_"
The other guy Chuks was talking to turned to Phil. What! "Oh my Goodness! Kayode?"
"Yes Brother, its me"Kayode stood up and embraced his friend tightly. This is Inbelievable! The three friends; Phil, Chuks and Kay, all attended the same university, which is Cambridge university in England. Chuks and Kay only came to England to study, while Phil was the one residing in the UK since he was ten. They used to be best of friends. On their third year in school, Kay lost his Parents and was left to cater for himself and so he resulted into drug trafficking ignoring everyone's advice. Thankfully the illegal business helped him through school and instead of him to stop the business, he still continued and so one day he got caught and was sentenced to twenty one years imprisonment. But its only five years in Jail and he is here!
"What the hell are you doing here?" Phil asked in amazement
"I'm outta jail, Dude. I'm out!"Kay said happily. The Young man was truely happy to be out of jail
"I can see that. How come?" Phil asked as they both sat on the sofa
"Come on tell us" Chuks said. Kay had promised to tell him everything when Phil arrives.
"Guys, its Jesus."
Phil and Chuks looked at themselves, perplexed. Since, when did Kay start thanking God.
Kay noticed the confused look on their faces, he chuckled "I know you guys are confused but guys, I am a born again now and being born again has really changed my life for the better"
Phil and Chuks looked at themselves again. Who would have told them that one day, Kay would be a born again Christian. Kayode, the weedsmoker, the club shooter, the one man fifteen ladies, ah! Kayode!
"This is it, I gave my life to Christ on my second year in jail and since then everything kept moving well for me, then six months ago, there was this amnesty program we had in the prisons, this program was to empower us, help us learn new trades, skill aquisation and all. After the training, there was a test and the besst twenty had a prize, which is to be freed and hustle for your Greener pastures through what you've been taught, though still empower the others in jail. The best twenty, would actually be on probation in case we go back to our old ways, they take us back to Jail. Luckily I was among the best twenty."
"Wow, this is goodnews. So how did you get to lagos?"
"Actually, when I was released, a Warder there took me in for the night, the next day he dropped me at the bus park and gave he gave me some money. I got here yesterday night, slept at the park and this Morning I came out to look for you guys, luckily for me I met Chuks on my way"
"Woo. What a story!" Phil said
"Guy when I saw him, I was like What!" Chuks said and they laughed.
"Its really God's grace. I'm happy for you man. I'm so happy" Phil said and gave him a light hug
"Thanks"
"Barman, three bottles of legend"
"I aren't drinking" Kay said
"Why?" Phil asked
"I don't do alcohol anymore"
"What!" Phil and Chuks said simultaenously. This is serious oh. 'Kayode, not doing alcohol anymore' crazy.
"Just get me any soft drink" Kay said to the barman.
"So Guys, how is life?" Kay asked his two perplexed friends. "Come on Guys, get over it. This is a new Kayode Peters!" He said to his friends
"You're indeed new. Its pretty obvious." chuks said
"Right Chukwudi"Kay said
"Bro, you still don't know how to pronounce my name. Just call me Chuks" Chuks said and they all laughed. The barman dropped their drinks and Glasses on the table.
"Thanks" Kay said to the barman and then took a sip of his maltina. "So how is life? I know business is moving pretty well for you Phil and you too Chuks"
"Business is good"
"And our wife? Remember the last time you guys visited me before I was taken to Rivers state prisons, you told me you were getting married"
At the sound of that, Phil and Chuks mood soured.
"Did I say anything wrong?”Kay noticed their change of mood.
"No. The thing_"
"Guy, his beloved wife turned out to be golddigger." Chuks explained everything to Kay.
"Lord have Mercy. This is really bad" Kay said
"It is and worse" Chuks said
"So, Phil what are you doing about it?"
"Nothing."Phil answered
"Nothing?”
"Yeap. Guys, I don't want yo talk about this now"
"How can someone live under the same roof with a person for three good years and still not feel anything for the person. I mean its absolutely unbelivable and sounds impossible"
"Its possible when it comes to Laura" Chuks said
"Even I hated going to jail but eventually fell in love with the place "
"U no well" Chuks chuckled. For him, he can't imagine lmagine liking such a place like Prison.
"Chuks, I mean it. The prison is not such a bad place" Kay said.
"Forget about me Guys, Kay, what are your plans now?" Phil asks
Kay sighed "Get a Job, an apartment and then find a good wife"
"Thats good."Phil said

The next day, Phil as he had said didn't go to work. He was at home resting. He needs some pretty good rest before starting life all over again.
Meanwhile, Laura had some visitors at home. Her pests in the name of friends came to visit her.
"You should see it, that Purse is so beautiful" Ose said. Ose; a very wealthy divorcee. Got divorced cause she was caught cheating on her husband.
"Yes Laura, its super good." Ola said. Ola is married to a very wealthy old chief, old enough to be her Grandfather.
"For me I think its very beautiful but cheap, I mean how can I use a purse worth just five million. Thats just below my standard." And that's Tracy. The popular Actress, always claiming to be married but no one has seen her mystery husband before. Always feeling so damn rich and perfect. She also good at keeping her private life a secret.
"Below your standard indeed" her rival Ose said
"Ose, for your information, my cheapest Purse cost fourteen million naira." Tracy said
"Oh please save it, that purse you're holding there doesn't even worth two hundred thousand naira." Ose said
"What! Ose, I take that as an insult" and that was it, the rivals started agureing. Ola who always enjoyed seeing them fight, relaxed on the sofa, took a sip of her Fruit Juice and watch them fight like children.
Geez, all this while, Laura was so uninterested in their conversation. She was just busy with her phone, trying to pass level 834 of her candy crush, and now these Pests were dusturbing her. She felt like sending out the fools from her house. She met these ladies six months ago at a social function and since then, they have been pestering her life. The worst amongst them was that Tracy who always felt like she was the best. Gosh, they were making a hell of noise! Phil didn't go to work today, probably taking the day off to rest and these Ladies were making so much Noise!
"Ladies... Ladies!" Laura finally got their attention. "You're in my house and I think you should respect that! Come on, we are adults not some sort of teenagers competing amongst themselves. You guys should stop this nonesense." Laura said irritatedly
Ose chuckled "Laura, you should you have left_ Oh my gosh"
What did she see?
"What is it?" They asked as they followed the direction of her eyes. It was just Phil on his phone coming down the stairs.
"He is so handsome. Just like a Greek God" Ose drooled over him
This really annoyed Laura. Her supposed to be friends were drooling over her husband. Isn't Tracy and Ola supposed to be married? Forger Ola, she's not satisfied with her man. What about Perfect Tracy. Geez.
Phil stepped down from the stairs, still on his phone and went straight to the back door.
"Ladies!" Laura yelled at them and dragged them out of their daydreaming
"Geez Laura, he is more handsome than those pictures of him I see on net." Ose said
"I have never seen him this close before" Ola confessed. They always met at some other spot or Laura's boutique and the few times they visited at home Phil's wasn't always at home.
"The Dude is handsome I must confess" Tracy said. For the first time in this six months friendship, Tracy has concurred with her friends
"Tracy, you too?"Laura asked
"Come on Laura, Tracy is a human being" Ola said
"You're very lucky you are my friend, if were to be another person I wouldn't mind snatching him away" Ose said mischievously
"That's my kind of man oh" Ola said
"Your kind of man and you married a Man old enough to be your ancestor" Tracy said and that got Ola really mad
"Tracy, you had better keep your bitter attitude to yourself! I won't take such insults from you!" Ola said angrily
"Girls, that's enough! The man you're talking about is my husband. Stop this!" Laura said angrily. They sighed "So what were we saying?" She asked them wanting to change the topic real bad.
"About a purse or what?" Ola said
"But wait oh, Laura how is he on bed?" Silly Ose asked
"Ose!!" The three ladies yelled simultaneously. They were begining to cross their boundaries
"What! Its just a question"Ose defended
"Please change the topic already" Laura said angrily. But wait oh, why is she overreacting
"Here he comes" Ola smiled sheepishly as Phil walked into the house
"Hiii" the three musketeers said. They finally got his attention
"Hello beautiful Ladies. Hope you're having a good time?"
"Laura is doing a good job as you can see" Ose said smiling
"Good. So have a nice time"
"You know, if you weren't my friends man, I would have taken you"
Phil smiled. What a friend? "Its never too late" he winked at her and left for the stairs.
Did he just flirt with her friend? Was he trying to make her Jealous or what? No way. Why would she be Jealous, anyways she doesn't give a s**t about him.
"He is so romantic" Ose said. Seriously, what romantic thing did he do?
"How? Did he do anything romantic here?" Tracy asked
"I think she meant to say, he is a hot flirty bad boy" Ola said and they all laughed except Laura who wasn't taking it funny. Laura was getting really irritated by this visit and then Phil had to make it worse.
"But Laura, is he always these cheesy and flirty?" Ola asks
"Girls, stop it. Its my husband you're drooling over. Its not cool" Laura said
"No vex. It's just a Joke" Ola said
Tracy said "Lets just change the topic. Guess what? I met Sophie Opens at_"
"But wait oh, that his aaccent gets me so_"
"Ose!!" Laura, Tracy and Ola yelled
"Oya sorry, you were saying?"

It wasn't even up to thirty minutes her Pests left and Musa was in her room telling her, that she had another guest. 'Who could it be?' She thought as she came downstairs. She got down only to meet her crazy PA.
"Goodevening Ma"Amara greeted her
"Evening. Musa actually said I had a guest, is it really you?" Laura said as she sat down
"Yes Ma. Am I not a VIP guest?"
"Oh please shut up. What brings you here by this time? What is so important that can't wait till tomorrow"
"Actually Ma, its very important."
"It should be." She hoped her stupid PA had something important to say this time
"Guess what. You've been invited for the upcoming Susen's fashion runway!" The fool shouted excitedly
"Amara, is that the reason you left your house to this place? Why are you so stupid!"
"Ma'am I came to drop the news as e dey hot"
"Gosh, Amara when would your brains develop" Laura said in an irritated manner.
