The portal burst open with a powerful gust of air, thrusting Mac violently through the portal. He rolled and tumbled ungracefully onto a grassy knoll, landing on his back perilously close to a grove of trees. Stunned and disoriented, he was not sure where he was, or what had happened. Slowly, he began to move his body and was more than relieved when everything seemed to be in working order. He raised his shoulders off the ground and rested on his elbows as he checked out the area. “Well, I’ll be,” he said.
