I've just come back from the mall to fetch Mabel. She called me crying hysterically unable to say a word. I was freaking out that I jumped off my office chair and raced to my car in a panic. I was thinking all sorts of bad things that I wasn't sure I would be able to drive and make it there but as soon as I thought about my family I was motivated to get my head back and pull myself together.
I sped through the city without regard that I would get a ticket or be fined. That didn't matter at all but I made sure not to run over anyone because that would make matters worse for me and I wouldn't be able to get to Mabel on time. I couldn't stop thinking that something bad might have happened to her. What could have had her crying out like that? I was so scared that maybe she was losing
