She's not looking at me but her phone. "Hey, do you need to go back now?" I asked gloomily.
"Oh no, let us grab some coffee first." she said, still looking at her phone.
I'm a bit upset, I can say. She's with me but she's not. "Hey, I can send you back now -" I was not able to finish my sentence because she cut me off.
"No, it’s okay. I was just checking the flow for tomorrow's episode." Then she turned to me and put her phone inside her pocket. "I think we really need this time."
I am not sure how to take her words but she's right. We really need this time.
