CHAPTER 37: THE ANNOYING FEELING

1358 Words

Marcus’ POV We arrived at the bar after about 30 minutes because the traffic is starting to build up.   “You okay, man?” said Uno.   I am about to speak but was interrupted by a man, “She’s not here yet.” said Chris, Kelsey’s uncle.   “Who are we talking about?” I asked. Yes, talking about self-denying.   “No, it’s not like that Chris.” and I felt a light tap on my shoulder and it was Uno, “It’s okay, man. They just thought you’re making a move on Kelsey.”   I know right, Kelsey’s family is warm and welcoming but progressive and I am starting to feel uncomfortable.   The crew at the bar are now setting up their mini stage and I am guessing that the band is going to perform here to celebrate their success. I am looking around to observe and familiarize myself with the area.
