“Tests, tests and more tests,” Annabel complained as they waited in front of their big stretch to see the consultant.
“They have to find out what’s wrong.”
“They’ve been testing me all year. If they don’t know what’s wrong now, they never will.”
“I’ve seen the x-ray and tomography results and, out of all your exams, the only issue I can identify is high blood pressure,” the consultant said once their tele-medicine consultation had started. “We’ll keep you on the same medication for now. Make another appointment if there are any developments.”
“Fat lot of use that was,” said Annabel once they had left the call.
“We need to find out what the problem is.”
