Mack pinned my hand on the surface of the bar as he continued to glare at Zachary. I, for one, didn’t understand why and how he was here. He was supposed to be at dinner with his precious super models, not here threatening a man I could potentially have a good time with. But I couldn’t deny that he looked incredibly sexy in the gray suit he wore. “Pardon me but, who are you?” Zachary asked. “That’s a very good question. Allow me to answer it,” I said and tried to get up from the stool only for Mack to force me down. “He. Is. A. Nobody.” “Then why did he refer to you as his property?” Zachary asked. “Because that’s exactly what she is,” Mack replied and I shot him a glare. “I’m not! I’m my own person and you better let go of me before I call the bouncer and have him drag you away!”
