Ep. FIVE

Alex POV

I made it in time and have minutes to spare, Roxy is in this class too yesterday, I wonder where she is?

I wonder who was supposed to sit right next to me yesterday, it was empty. I'm sitting close to the window I can see the clouds shifting from air, winter is coming. I can feel a bit cold from the breeze already. Other Students started to enter the room, they're talking about something, I got a bit curious of what the students are talking about, I mean it's part of High School right? Gossiping. I thought and laugh in the inside. I then started listening.

Did you guys heard, someone saw an assassin. he jump into at least 3 trees then jump at the open door at the end of our floor. I wonder who he is after. He is so fast, they said the only thing you can see is, a red stain after the jump. Like red silhouette. The kid said with a very amused face while his telling the other kids the story. 

I'm literally dying inside from laughing. I can't help but giggled silently. Few things that is wrong with this story. First: it's not 3 its 4 trees. Second: The red stain, is not a stain. Its the shoes. Third: Its not a door, its a window from the janitors closet. And most importantly it is not an assassin. I mean, I can be if I choose too be, I guess. I thought. 

I feel like I want to just burst out laughing, and hysterically laugh in their faces at the gossip. I was smiling at the thought. When suddenly Jared sat right next to me. For some reason my senses are weak towards him, every time I sense him, his like a feet close to me already. My senses are hyper sensitive, as that's how I was trained, I can literally feel and hear footsteps from at least a mile distance. I feel weak when I'm around him. As much as I don't like being vulnerable, It seems like with him around, I don't mind at all.

My heart is pounding so hard, I feel like it's coming out my chest. I didn't notice that I'm clenching my chest with my broken hands. I can help but yelp in pain and curse in my breath. "Filho da puta"  

Jared POV

Chemistry I don't like this class, nobody want's to pair up with me. I thought.

She disappear again, she was just literally right in front of us. Tony said while walking 

towards his class which is right next door.

I'm in the same class with Roxy, she still seems off. I can't figure it out, but I intend to find out. I see her as a little sister since she is Tony's sister. Me and Roxy are about to enter the door when I heard the other students gossiping. I stop to listen and gesture Roxy to go inside.

Assassin in school, that's not good. But why this school? Somethings off. I have to get to the bottom of this. I was so into my thoughts, when I saw Alex smiling and giggling next to my sit, she's sitting right next to me?! Holy shits!! I mumbled under my breath.

I'm liking Chemistry now, just like I get to like arts. I said out loud.

I sat down right next to her, she seem so into her thought that she didn't notice me. I stared at her beauty and inhaled her wonderful scent. I felt her became anxious, I don't like it when she feels like that towards me. She suddenly sat up straight, gave me a little glance and look at the front. 

The class started by Mrs. Myers handing out papers. "Work with your partners to get this formulas right. begin". Mrs. Myers said while she walk around the class.

I felt Alex is beginning to calm down. I smiled on the thought of her feeling at ease around me. Maybe I can start talking to her now. I grab the paper for me and her to share, I handed her the other paper. I feel like I'm alone with her in this classroom, only her presence is important. I feel so happy looking at her.

Hi. I said, shaking voice

Hi. she said, chirpy voice

Hey, I'm sorry about yesterday. I blurred out.

It's ok, I figured you're not use on someone defying your orders. she said.

Can you hand me the beaker and the dropper please. she said pointing at the instruments.

No it's not like that at all. I said, handing her the beaker and dropper.

Then what? she ask, while handing me a test tube.

Well I tend to act stupid around you. I said shyly.

You're funny and corny. She said giggling.

I wasn't joking. I said staring at her smiles.

Well I find it funny for sure and cute. she said laughing.

I'm glad I can make you smile. I mumbled. How's your wrist? I added.

It's fractured, it will take sometime to heal. But it'll heal eventually. She said rubbing her cast. 

Your grip is strong, that I'm sure. She added, she then smiled and touch my shoulder.

I'm really sorry. I don't know why but my wolf, kind of showed himself and that happen. I said trying to contain my excitement from her touch.

You mean to say you're wolf is trying to hurt me? She said sounding so worried.

Not hurt you. I'm sure about that. Jake was just excited to be around you. His excitement turns to that I guess. But I talked to him already that wont happen again. I said feeling a bit ashamed.

Why is your wolf excited to be around me? She said with such a perky voice.

Because you seems to be nice. I blurred out.

Ohhhh Okay. Do you mind if I finish this, I'll write down every thing, just copy it. We have too catch up with our work, I got caught up talking to you that we didn't get to do this. We're kind of no time now I feel behind. she said then turn herself towards her side and started writing and finish the experiment.

Shit. s**t. s**t. I f****d up! Because your nice? Really? I thought to myself putting my head down in disgrace.

Alex POV

really?? "because you seems to be nice." we're having such a good cute sexy flirtatious interaction when he said that I'm nice. He ruined the vibe, I mean, I know I'm flirting with him for sure, is he just ignoring it? Am I just thinking that he is my mate? because if he is how come his not saying anything? Maybe he knows, about me being wolf-less. That's it, his probably just waiting for the right moment to reject me. I thought and I'm getting annoyed.

Alex you okay? Jared suddenly turned and ask me while grabbing my arms in a very soft and concerned way.

Ohhh I mean the formulas are annoying, here you can pass that already. it's done. Just add your name on top. I'll go ahead. bye. i said immediately standing from my sit about to walk out the room when.

Ms. Romania where are you going? Mrs. Myers stopping my walking out scene.

Are you kidding me, I'm in the middle of a walk out scene right now. I said in my mind.

Mrs. Myers, Me and Mr. Black are done with our work, now if you don't mind I really need to go. Thank you.

I said then I started running, I feel like I can't breath but at the same time I'm laughing. That's embarrassing. I thought it was all in my head, but nope I said it out loud.

I'm going crazy! One minute I'm annoyed at him, and then the next minute I want to just glare at him and be in his presence all the time. I feel happy when his around. I thought I walk to the hallway towards the cafeteria when I saw Roxy, she seems off.

hey Roxy? I said stopping her from her track.

Ohh hey Alex. She said a bit startled.

are you ok? you look so off. you seem to be agitated? I said trying to figure out what's going on.

I grab her hands a drag her to the cafeteria, I sat her down, and told her to wait. 

I'll get the food, I'll be back okay. I told her. On my way back, I saw Roxy sitting across with someone. She seems jolly and smiling and chirping towards this guy. Wait I know that guy!!!

ROGER!! what are you doing here? I sat down next to him and I blurted out with such and authoritative tone that a subject is submit to answer it and Roxy gave me a look.

Shoots you don't have to answer that. What I meant was. What is the Beta of Crescent Moon doing here? At this school? At this hours?. I said trailing my question, he better not reveal who I am or else he and Daniel will be kissing each other ass tonight! I thought.

Roger then stood up in front of me about to answer my question. when suddenly Jared grab him by the neck and push him to the wall. I saw Roxy stood up and mumbled Mate. Everything seems to be blurred right now.

Holy guacamole!! Roxy and Roger? R and R are mates! I'm so happy for them, that's probably why Roxy

looks like s**t earlier she's so agitated because they're about to meet. I thought then I realize Roger is not submitting to Jared. Ok I got to do something before a fight starts. I look at Roger, he is not just going to submit to any one even if you're an Alpha. he would only submit to his Alpha and Luna of his pack

and technically I'm his Luna that's why he submits to me. Ok lets end this misunderstanding.

Jared let go of him, his the beta for the Crescent Moon pack and he is her for his mate Roxy. I said grabbing him in his arms it seems like my touch does calm him down. Ohhhh thank the Goddess for the mate bond is calming him down.
