Ep. THREE

   Alex POV

    "Filho da puta  (Brazilian Portuguese)

    Figlio de Puttana (Italian)

    Baiseur-de-mère (French)  

    Ahhhhh mother faucet!!! I'm so mad right now!! He f*cking yelled at me, and in front of the whole school..."

    "Just the cafeteria, not school..." Roxy said.

    "It doesn't matter, he screamed at me. Then he freaking broke my wrist. And then he had the f*cking audacity to say, "I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT YOU" and all that for just not following his dumb Alpha s**t!!!"

    "So... Alex, what were you saying earlier?" Roxy looked at me like an innocent kid. I laughed at her gesture and started to calm down.

    "You're funny Roxy! I said mother f*cker in Brazilian Portuguese, Italian and French. I tend to curse in different languages. It's an inside joke between my brother and me. My mother didn't like it when we cursed when we were little, heck not even now. So as kids we learned different languages just so we could curse without our mother reprimanding us. But of course, mother found out about it. Now it's just become a habit of mine. I don't think it's that bad, I guess I just like cursing in different languages since most people don't seem to understand it." I laughingly explained to Roxy.

    "That is funny, because you don't have the guts to say mother f*cker in English, instead you say mother faucet..."  ...We laugh at each other. She then grabs my right wrist to check my injury...  

    "Let me see your wrist, maybe we should go to the clinic. A sprain will easily heal with the help of your wolf, but if it's broken we have to get it treated first and then your wolf will eventually heal it.

 Wait, Alex, you're hot, like burning hot."  She said with her hands still on my wrist, she looks worried... I took my wrist away from her and told her

     "I don't have a wolf, I'm probably burning up because of my wrist. I'll just go home. I'll see you Roxy..." I then left her in the Bathroom.

    I ran to the back garage area of the school and got into my car. I drive a bulletproof heavy tinted Mercedes Benz S 450. It was a gift from my Father. I sat in the car, just staring in front of me when I realized... it'll be a painfully long ride back home. Why do I f*cking drive a manual stick?... Great, just freaking great!!!

    I can't wait to get home.

    Jared POV

    I didn't see Alexandria after the incident in the cafeteria, Tony said she left school early and headed home. I feel terrible, I could have dropped her home, but I don't even know where her home is? What pack is she from? How is she...

    "Come on bro, let's go home." Tony said interrupting my thoughts.

    Walking to the SUV I saw Roxy waiting for us. We hopped into the car and Tony started driving us home. The air was filled with silence, when I finally asked Roxy...

    "Hey Roxy, I need an update regarding your friend Alexandria, I didn't see her after lunch, I'm just wondering..." I trail off. She looked at me and smirked...

    "Are you asking me as a friend/family or are you ordering me to answer in your Alpha tone?"  Roxy spit her words out.  "Alex is such a good girl, very nice, and probably the only friend I have and will have since you two always scare the people around me. She is new in this school and you guys literally scared her and injured her on her first day!! Well done Alpha!! She's probably in the hospital right now.  Did you know, that poor girl is wolf-less? So you breaking her wrist will probably take forever to heal, she was burning up already when she left, she was crying her eyes out when we left the cafeteria. I didn't even get the chance to console her as she left me in the bathroom after telling me that. I just hope she shows up tomorrow for school." Roxy explained with anger and sadness in her voice.

    "Do you know what pack she is in, I want to see her and make sure she is ok?" I said to Roxy.

    "We never got the chance to talk about where we from or what pack. We were briefly interrupted by your outburst." Roxy said sarcastically and it was starting to annoy me. 

    "Roxy enough, I'm not liking your tone anymore." Tony said to Roxy. He probably sensed my irritation.

    "Don't be mad at me... I'm just stating the facts. If you hadn't acted stupid and egotistic in front of her, she'd probably be riding with us right now." Roxy said with conviction.

    "I was being stupid, I know, but it's because she is my mate and I didn't realize how foolishly I was acting in front of her. I really didn't mean to hurt her. I would never hurt her..." I said with my hands clenching my chest, I felt pain at the thought of my mate being hurt and the fact that it was my fault.

    "Well, at least I know that you're not intentionally trying to hurt her. You're were just being dumb, so you hurt her. Well now that we know, just fix it. Own up to your mistake, try to woo her. If there is one thing I know about Alex, is that she may look innocently shy, but boy, is she the opposite! She has such a strong personality, I'm not sure why she's hiding under the facade of a shy girl." Roxy stated smiling at me.

  "I'll need your help, Roxy, I need to win her heart."

    We got to the packhouse and all I can think of is Alexandria. 

    Alex...Alex...Alex...

    I asked Roxy to help me get to know Alex, I also told her not to say anything about her being my Mate. If she doesn't have a wolf, I'm not sure how she would feel about Mates. I don't want to be rejected even before trying. Night came before I knew it and I felt that my body was tired. I took a quick shower, jumped into my bed and immediately dozed off.

    Alex POV

    A 1-hour drive home feels like forever. When I finally reach the packhouse, I park in the garage and sneak to the back to climb the walls. I grab the edge of the roof, and my left hand slips, so I instinctively the roof with my right hand to support my body. The pain from the swollen wrist is so excruciating that I almost screamed. I then covertly walk on the sides of the roofing till I get to my terrace. I lay down on the cold tiles of my terrace, feeling exhausted. Looking at my wrist I notice it just got more swollen...

    "I've never sustained any injuries in the past, not ever, but today I got slapped, yelled at, AND my wrist got broken!! s**t, my face was still swollen from the slap from this morning and now my wrist. I have to hide these injuries or else it's an automatic school transfer for me..." I was talking to myself 

when suddenly...

   "That's why you better have a good excuse for those injuries for Mom and Dad, as for me, who is the F*cker that hurt my little sister?!! 

    "Daniel!!!" I yelled so loud and jumped into his arms. 

    My brother's home, I've missed him so much. Daniel went to college to study Business Management, he said he wants to experience a regular school. He's been staying with the Royals, my Mom is the youngest of the royal family, but she chose to stay as a Luna with Dad and lead the Crescent Moon Pack. Since she was not next in line for the throne it was an easy decision. Hence I get to train with the Royals in England, my mom is cousins with Queen Victoria. But here at home, my brother is next line for the Alpha title, he found his mate almost a year ago, they meet at the University. 

    Cassandra is a very pretty lady, she became a sister to me almost immediately,  and we all know for sure that she will be a great Luna. Their transferring of power ceremony will be held at the end of the month. I can't wait to see them together and lead this pack as my parents did.

    "Alexandria you better sucking tell me what happened!!" I jumped away from his arms when I heard him yell, I can sense the anger in his voice.

    "Sorry Daniel... I'll tell you later."

    ...and right on cue, my mother busted down the door, screaming her lungs out. Cassandra is also with her and she went directly to my side.

    "Goddess what happened?! Daniel, what did you do to your sister?!?!"

    Daniel looked at me with the what-the-f*ck- face.

    "Me and Daniel were just playing, you know how we play rough jiu-jitsu with each other? Well, I lost and the rest is history..." I looked at Daniel with my puppy eyes and muffled "I'm sorry".

    "Daniel James, I told you your sister is in no shape for rough games like that, she doesn't have a wolf so she's weak, she doesn't heal like the rest of us. Now she's injured. AHHH for Goddess sake, take your sister to the infirmary."

    Daniel looked at me and said to mom

    "Mom she may not have a wolf, but that doesn't mean she is weak, and trust me when I say she is not weak!!" my brother said with pride in his voice.

    My mom looks at Daniel and then at me...

    "I don't know about you two, but you better have a good explanation for your Father when he finds out about this. Now take her to the infirmary before it gets worse."

    "We love you mom." Daniel and I said in unison.

 Daniel then carried me to the infirmary to get treated, and when we got there I told Daniel to check on mom since she was worried and nervous earlier and I'll text him when I'm done. 

    I have a fractured wrist so the doctors put a cast on it, normally a wolf would fully heal in a week, but in my case, as I am wolf-less, it will take at least 2-3 weeks.

    After the infirmary, I head up to my room where I clean up and change into my pajamas, I felt tired. I usually feel this drained after I burst out in anger and I got really mad twice today. I texted Daniel that I'm in the room already and he said he'll be up soon. Since I don't have the connection with the Link, I use my phone to connect with everyone.  My parents tried to open up my link but the elders said it's been blocked just like my wolf.  

    I was into watching Friends, when Daniel knocked on the door.

    "Come in Dan..."

    He opened the door and got me a freshly baked chocolate croissant, my favorite... He then sat down on the bed leaning on the headboard and cradling me in his arms.

    "I'm glad that your senses are like those of an assassin wolf, and your strength is that of a warrior wolf, heck, I will proudly admit you could be as strong as me. But Sis, as much as it hurts me to say this, you don't have a wolf, your wolf is not present to heal you, give you the protection to sustain fewer injuries.

Right now it's just small injuries, a manageable one, like this one., but what if something happens to you and you get severely injured? Have you thought of how Mom or Dad would feel...how I would feel? Seeing you on the terrace earlier scared me. I thought something happened to you, I imagined the worst, the feeling that I might lose my sister breaks my heart. So please, be careful."

    ... I can see and feel his sadness and fear.

    "I'm sorry, I promise I will be extra extra extra careful." I said and gave him my puppy eyes... Works every time.

    "Now tell me what happened." he said using his Alpha tone and with a demanding look in his eyes.

    I finally told him what happened today without leaving any details, including the possible mate pull I could feel towards Jared. He got pissed about the part where I got hurt, especially the slap from someone I don't even know, but he was smiling with the possibility of me having a mate without my wolf.  Makes him happy. We stayed up all night that night just chatting and joking around like when we were kids.
