*Mason POV*
Today we are gathering with our family at Winter River. Landen and Zach will officially become dual Alpha's. Hardin wanted them to live life a bit before taking over, but he was getting older and ready to step down. Hardin has been sick for awhile now with an illness that no one seems to know what it is. He says that him and Maddy just want to live out the rest of their days in peace with their family by their sides. The grandkids spend as much time as they can with their grandparents and I think that is what Hardin is looking forward to the most. No pack duties, just grandkids.
