It's been 2 weeks since Luca's death. Once our mates had killed him, they sent for the four of us girls. They wanted to make sure we seen he was dead and could no longer hurt us. I will never forget the sight of his scattered remains laying on the floor of the cell house. The four of us stood holding hands trying to process it all when Eve spoke. "Burn him...Burn him to ashes and let the wind and fire carry him to the underworld. Thank all of you for doing this for us. It couldn't have been easy to take a life." Nigel moved to her immediately and cupped her face looking straight in her eyes, "My love, you don't need to thank us. It's never easy to take a life, but this life, this creature, his life was the easiest decision in the world. He didn't deserve mercy."
