*Corrine POV* After what Eve told me, I knew I needed to talk with my mom. I walked into the kitchen, and the amazing smell of roasting meat and fresh bread made my mouth water. She was peeling potatoes, singing along to the music that was playing. With everything going on outside the bunkers, it was weird to me. I understood trying to keep the mood light, but it's like no one truly cared that we were in a crisis. I shook my head and took a deep breath and stood in front of my mother.
