Daddy called not long ago to let us know that they would be arriving in approximately 10 minutes. I got up from my chair in the library and went to get the girls. They were still in the kitchen preparing snacks. All three of us were having a hard time eating full meals, so we snacked a lot. Once I told them what dad had said, they joined me in going outside to wait. I could hear the bus from a distance and my heart started to race. I grabbed Eve and Jilly's hands and held on for dear life. I couldn't calm down until I saw him in front of me with my own eyes. "It's OK Kaia, calm down girl," Eve said.
