I was up earlier than usual this morning. As much as I loved snuggling with my beautiful mate, I couldn't lie in bed any longer. I decided to get up and go get some coffee and catch up on some paperwork, and overlook the estimates that had come in for the rebuild of Winter River. Dad had been struggling lately with exhaustion and stress and I wanted to help him out as much as possible. I kissed Jillian on the forehead, causing her to stir a bit. I got dressed in a pair of black sweats and a red fitted t-shirt, and made my way to the kitchen. I started a pot of coffee and popped a bagel in the toaster.
