Coming from my dad’s study room I happen to meet halfway through a servant, I stop to asked her where is my mom.
“Have you seen my mom?” I asked her.
The servant politely greeted me first before answering my question. “Good afternoon Miss Avery. The mistress is in the garden to do some gardening work,” she said.
I thank her and let her go after getting an answer from her. What makes me wonder is that if I hear her wrong. My mom was doing a work in the garden? Like plowing soil, planting flowers? Unbelievable.
