Chapter -12 Little Bird. A nightmare? ~

Moretti brothers were discussing about her safety and how and when they will introduce her to the others.
Dimitri doesn't want his precious little sister to be part of this world.
But he can't do anything since,
If he didn't did this sooner she will be in danger.
As rivals were ready everyday to kill him.

Ricco groaned
"Did we really have to do this stuffs. I am hungry"
Gonzalo replied
"We just had dinner an two hour ago"
"That's right two hours..........
You can't blame me I am a growing man and I need food"
Everyone rolled his eyes at him.
Ricco again groaned
"Seriously though I wish my life is like that brat "
Dimitri asked
"Why?"
Ricco whined
"She is peacefully sleeping where I am working in the middle of the night "
Antonio sighned and said
"Stop being jealous of our sister and work you moron"
Ricco groaned loudly.
Ricci smirked and said.
"Aww.... Do you want me to sing a lullaby for you little baby"
Ricco glared at him
"f**k off"
Others chuckled.
Their conversation and laughter halted when they heard a painful scream of Valtina from her room.
They immediately take their guns and ran to her room.
After reaching there, Dimitri pushed the door open
and enter inside only to get shocked by the view.

There, Valtina is having a nightmare, she is thrashing around here and there in the bed and crying.
"No....no...... please..no uh... please
leave me......I am.......no.....I .....so... sorry........ please............no"
Their cold hearts broke at this.
They quickly surrounded her around the bed.
Dimitri tried to wake her up by lightly shaking her.
He called her softly
"Kitten, wake up, sh!! it's just a nightmare..... no one is here kitten....... hm......you are safe .....baby"
But she continued to cry
"No.....no ah please....... leave me .... I am not a little bird...... I hate this name...... no......"
She started breathing heavily, it's became hard for her to breath.
Ricco quickly said in urgency
"s**t!! move away.... Don't come close to her"
Others quickly moved away from her.
Ricco quickly hugged her tightly and started to say sweet things in her ear
Finally after sometime she relaxed and opened her eyes.
Ricco cupped her cheeks
"Are you fine ?"
She nodded.
She slowly sat up.
Nobody said a word to her.
Gonzalo give her water to drink,
Valtina gulp down all of it.
She looked up and saw her all brothers are here and looking at her with sad expression.
She gulp and look down and said
"I am sorry for waking you all up. I ....."
She cut off by Dimitri
"There is nothing to be sorry for. It was not your fault kitten"
She didn't said anything back.
He pick her up from Ricco's lap and hugged her to his chest. He whispered in her ear
" Is it okay, if I stay here with you tonight?"
She meekly nodded.
Dimitri gave others a look and they immediately went out of the room. But not before kissing her forehead and wishing her ' Good night '.
Dimitri lat her down on the bed and lay himself beside her.
He pull her in his embrace and stroke her hair gently, placing a soft kiss on her hair time to time.
No words exchanged between them.
And after some time, he heard her soft snores indicating she is sleeping.
Dimitri tighten his arms, his eyes were dark, he darkly whispered in her hair.
" I will find the reasons because of which you are scared my kitten and than
I will clean them from their roots"
Nobody could hurt his kitten and get away with it.
With that he fall asleep.
