That ring was a very powerful cultivation Item, It had the energy of a spirit Tier weapon but was not quite that It would forcefully raise a person's cultivation by a full realm at the cost of their life energy, once it is used they will never be able to cultivate past that rank they used it at and any attempt to do so would without any form of doubt kill the individual.

"I advise against using that, It won't and well for you, and only if you encounter a blue mark magus that is willing to help you will you be able to raise your cultivation" Anthony warned as he signaled for Martin to step back for this one, He wanted Jiho Chang to take this one.

"F*** you, I will do as I please after all my father will find a way to help me!!" Matheo screamed in denial as he activated the ring. Black energy enshrouded his body piercing through his flesh and bones causing his veins to be visible at his eyes, across his back, all over his arms, and at his feet, his aura rose violently as a deathly pressure was released from his body.

"Is this really this bad all the time??" Jiho asked Anthony as he reckoned Anthony had a decent knowledge of this thing. "No... It's worse than Normal, I predicted his aura would jump a realm at most but he is not a Rank 9 Petal realm cultivator at all, He is a half step into the Clover realm" Anthony confirmed Jiho Chang's worries, "What's more the longer he goes is will continue to grow" Anthony said in a serious tone.

"In that case, I am going to need your help for this one" Jiho Chang said as he drew his spear, which is a floral tier weapon, and released his aura. Jiho Chang was a Rank 7 Petal realm cultivator and his battle power climbed two ranks at most even with his spear, "Sure thing Senior Chang" Anthony said as he drew a pair of blue talismans and attached one to Jiho Chang's back, he used the second one on himself and his aura rose to a Rank 7 Petal realm cultivator as well, He was ready to let off some steam today.

"Why don't we show him what we've learned these past few weeks?" Jiho suggested with a grin. Anthony punched his plan igniting his fists with ordinary flames as he said "Gladly!!".

Anthony was finally ready to display the full might of his phantom god steps and zwitte flare art, plus with him, almost at stage two for both cultivation arts, he is set for a good fight. Jiho Chang on the other hand had been cultivating for too long and needed someone to use to practice stabilizing his power otherwise it would be for nothing In the end as if he lost control of his Qi at a truly vital moment he would inevitably die, Matheo just happened to present himself to be the punching bag.

Anthony threw three white talismans at Matheo and began his move, at the first stage Anthony would not be able to attack with it but he was using the Phantom god's step to rush at Matheo. An Intense shadow covered Anthony's body as it sharply moved towards Matheo and Jiho Chang gracefully spun his lance building up his Qi which created a green domain of Qi and made a stabbing motion, A massive green trident of Qi formed and lunged at Matheo.

Matheo Drew a black sword from his waist and condensed the black Qi leaking off of him onto the blade, after which he slashed once upward creating a Qi blade that flew at the Trident and rushed at Anthony to attack.

Jiho Chang was struggling to stop the Qi blade as it easily dispersed his Floral Martial skill and was pressuring him, he was barely able to hold it back and would not be able to deal with it for a little bit of time.

Meanwhile, Anthony and Matheo were exchanging blows, although Matheo did not know any martial Skills, the pill had Made it practically impossible for Anthony to win as Matheo was now a full-fledged clover realm cultivator and rapidly approached the 2nd Rank of the Clover realm as such his natural physical blows proved to be more than enough. Anthony was using the Zwitte flare immortal art, Floral martial skill: Flame gauntlet on his left hand, and the Irokman Floral Martial skill: Irokman Legacy, Iron gauntlet. a steel gauntlet formed on his right hand and he utilized the immortal foundation to enhance his physical state.

Anthony was parrying the barrage of punches Matheosent out, however, it was creating craters upon crates with each blow, Anthony was also struggling to keep up he even had to use the Phantom god's steps to keep up with each attack, while Anthony was indeed strong, the difference In their cultivation was showing.

Jiho Chang noticed Anthony struggle and began to rapidly rotate his spear as the Qi blade pressured him some more, but Jiho chang dispersed the Qi blade and rushed at Matheo to relieve some of the pressure on Anthony. Martin who was watching this from a distance tightened his grip on a book in his hand, he felt he was letting his brother down as he could only sit idly by as Anthony was struggling.

Martin Transformed into his beast form and Rather than Rank 2 he was already a rank 4 Petal realm cultivator, he retrieved two blue pills from his pockets and consumed them allowing his aura to surge. So long as they could get rid of his sword, Martin would be able to finish Matheo off for good, but he had to cultivate his beast form, for now, so he focused on letting the energy fuse with his soul and refine his body.

Jiho stabbed at Matheo's rib forcing Matheo to block while Anthony struck his chest with his zwitte skill sending him flying back 5 yards and dropping his sword, Jiho equally abandoned his spear and rushed at Matheo unleashing a barrage of punches aimed at his face and upper body. Anthony sent a flaming Qi palm at Matheojust as Jiho backed away expecting it to do much damage, rather the black aura emanating off of his body intensified as he broke through to a rank 2 Clover realm cultivator.

The energy from the breakthrough created an explosion that disintegrated the Qi palm and blew Jiho Chang over 20 yards away heavily injuring him. Matheo burst out of the dust cloud created from his breakthrough and hooked his hand making a stabbing motion towards Anthony.

Anthony felt his own aura weakening as the connection he had to Jiho Chang's cultivation was weakening, he could not run as he had overused the phantom god's steps trying to survive the initial attack.

Anthony did not even try to run anymore, He drew forth three golden talismans and activated them, They released three beams of Qi energy at Matheo strong enough to Kill a clover realm cultivator if directly hit. Matheo dodged the first one but was blasted three yards backward by the second one injuring his ribs, Matheo condensed Qi around his fists as he punched the last one dispersing it into an explosion that broke even more of his bones as well as tear of some pieces of flesh in his arms. 

Anthony emerged with a white blade of Qi at hand and stabbed at Matheo, He was aiming to kill him now, or else things would only worsen. Anthony aimed at Matheo's heart but Matheo shifted slightly and the blade dug into his rib instead, What he did not remember was that Qi blades also damaged spirit, although he did not die, Anthony was just barely able to stab into Matheo's cultivation core.
