Rowan’s warriors had underestimated us by attacking us in a surprise move, but they paid the price. When the last of them fled into the forest, the tension in the air finally began to ease.
Along with Darius, we all moved to the tree line where we would shift and wear robes. However, instead of going there, Darius’s wolf nudged me to follow the line of the tree with him.
