Cloette’s POV:
The way Olivia stares at me is unsettling, but I keep my nerves under control. Trying to maintain a stoic face all throughout this amusing but quite needless conversation is a success that I’m very proud of.
Olivia then pulls out a check and a pen from her Hermes pink pouch. The scribbling of the tip of her pen against the surface of the check vibrates in my ears. Following that, she extends the check to me and says,
“This is your advance payment. I’ll give the rest to you once I find the perfect wedding dress for my fairytale wedding. Meet me on the ground floor's lobby tomorrow at nine in the morning.”
We haven't even signed a contract for this sideline, yet she’s giving me a down payment? She’s really making sure that I won’t change my mind. I take the check from her
