I take a shower first to wash down some dirt off my skin before changing in my much preferred clothes - a pair of fitted jeans, a sleeveless polo with a collar high enough to hide my bite mark and, since I left my only pair of sneakers in Lavine’s yacht, I wear the shoes I stole from a*****e. Even though I’m all prepared and ready, I don’t get out of the room until Lola Magda arrives. I wanna make sure that Lavine has already left before Olivia and I head down to the parking lot. When Lola Magda returns with a smile of satisfaction, she bobs her head and gestures that Lavine is gone. Her unstated happiness at seeing her son again makes me wanna stay with her all day long.
