Nora watched as Brian entered the shop on Madison. She'd left the office as scheduled and then waited outside the shop for him to appear. Any minute now he'd come out of the shop and she would put her plan into action. She looked through the windows of the shop, he was looking at his phone for the receipt that Nora had sent him, then she saw the shop owner grab a small box and hand it to Brian.
Nora straightened herself out and turned back, taking a few steps towards the shop next door. She watched as Brian approached the shop door, his face on his phone as he wrote something and then she moved forward as casual as possible.
Brian texted Nora to let her know he had the gift and then placed the phone back into his pocket as he opened the door of the shop and stepped out, immediately bum
