Just then Noah calls for security to throw them out and this already started to call some people’s attention just then Levi stepped in

How dare you touch her?

Do you know who she is? Noah cuts in uncle she is not important,I will handle her.

Did you just say she is not important,She is my wife and my guest Levi roared.And that if anyone lays a finger on her again then they will face the consequences squarely.

There was a moment of silence for a while before Noah asked again what he’s uncle just said about Maya,he was shocked to he’s bone.

Noah’s mum comes in saying, when did he get married without involving any family member,asking if this is any sort of joke,because if it is he should just stop it.Levi went further to raise Maya’s ring finger to signify they are married and went further to ask Debra why she needs to inform her about he’s life decisions,in all this argument Maya could not alter a word,she was tensed.Noah then then angrily told everyone that he’s uncle getting married is not the problem,but the more pressing issue is that Maya is he’s ex-girlfriend,Levi immediately countered Noah to stop altering rubbish,but Noah went further to say all sort of bad things about Maya calling her a s**t and a gold digger,Noah’s mum Debra slapped Maya hard scaling her a b***h,she then wanted to push her when Levi stopped her with the threat “I promise you if you touch her one more time,you and Noah will suffer for it and you no what I mean”

Levi turned to ask her if what Noah said is true and all Maya said is “I want to go home,this place is too toxic for me to stay” and Levi nodded in agreement while they about to leave.Maya told Noah and he’s mum that they are despicable people.

He was about to step out of the hall when Debra started ranting saying over the years Levi has always done things he likes,on he’s own free will and controlling.This infuriates Levi to angrily say he knows she is pained because he stopped her from manipulating him and he started caring for himself more and if she pushes any further he will cut both mother and son off he’s assets and that they better thread with caution.The cat has suddenly cut your tongue huh Debra,answer me Levi said and walked away to join Maya but he found Scarlett already comforting her he then joined the other SUV and they drove home.

Back in the party Angela was so angry as at why Noah and he’s family ruined her engagement with their drama and why Noah was still concerned about whatever happens with he’s ex girlfriend.Even her father was upset as well,but Noah’s mum managed to control the situation assuring both father and daughter that her son has nothing to do with he’s ex-girlfriend anymore,and that the party can go on.

While Maya got home back in her room,she vented telling Scarlett why she could not say anything was because she feels bad that Levi is fighting he’s family for her and for some weird reason she feels safe around him and how he will feel when he finds out she is actually Noah’s ex,you should who explain yourself to him let him hear from you directly.

Levi was at the bar taking champagne when he decides to go through he’s chat and saw that he’s PA,already sent in the assignment about the research on Maya since noon.

He had a shocking look after going through the document,Levi stormed upstairs to meet Maya but he bumped into her by the door and Levi said to Maya “so you are really Noah’s ex girlfriend” means he’s was not blabbing,how could you hide such details from me,when we decided to go on this contract marriage.She ask to explain herself,and that the situation is not how Noah portrayed it,Levi cuts her saying he does not want to hear a thing from her,all he wants is for her sincere answer to the question he asked her

Are you Noah’s ex-girlfriend ?

“ Yes” Maya responded

Then Levi’s shoulder dropped in disappointment.Scarlett added “please listen to her explanation” ,he stretched forth he’s hand as a sign that he was not interested and he turned to leave.

He went to the room and Maya could not sleep,she was just pacing to and fro in her room;Scarlett asked her to calm down and that this tension will not get sorted if she keeps pacing and that she needs to sleep to calm her head and that tomorrow is another day.

Next morning, Levi left the house pretty early without eating breakfast,Maya knocked on he’s door but there was no responses she and Scarlett proceeded to go down for breakfast.Maya opted for coffee only,she asked Martha if she seen Mr Levi this morning,and she confirmed she has and that he had gone out.Maya knew well that he was still very mad at her lies.After breakfast Scarlett was preparing to go back home while Maya told Scarlett she wants to go with her for some days.Scarlett was curious to know why and she told her she feels some days apart will help calm the situation, and that she herself needs to sort out somethings

When Levi got back at night,he was climbing the stairs when Martha told him about Maya leaving the house with Scarlett since noon and has not returned till now,he suddenly paused then rushed to her room,he entered checked her wardrobe and was stunned.
