13 I jolted up from the spot I had laid down in on the forest floor. Kara was still wrapped around me, keeping me warm. Loch still on look-out duty. The horse I had stolen was lazily grazing not too far from us. It was dark outside, not even the moon was out tonight. I hadn’t meant to sleep for so long. I knew my body had needed it though. The pain in my shoulder was intense right at this moment. I must have slept on it wrong. I also should have thought about grabbing more herbs to help with the pain. Standing, I walked to the river bank and got a drink then turned and made my way to the horse. I needed food and a bed.
