“Hmm… what should I give them? They can eat with both hands so… they can not hold anything in my humble opinion.” “But a weapon? Is different for a woman who is not allowed to do anything. Her brother says she is not capable of defending with anything.” “Well, they looked frightened when I told them about the bear.” “What bear? Ha Ha Ha!! Did they really fall for it??” “They totally did!” “You think they don’t have bears in their world?” “I don’t know.” “Let’s find out then!” Looking through her brother's eyes, and sharing the mental plane space, Moon was able to experience everything that Tiger could touch, hear or see. So he just threw his bow towards them all, and taken by surprise, they duck and the bow fell on the ground. That did not look like any of them was capable of holding or catching a bow at least. They were all just scared maids, or at least this seemed to be the case anyhow. Looking surprised in his direction, they were all waiting for some explanation or anything else being thrown again at them. Why would the stranger throw things at them like that? They could not understand. What was he thinking? -Why did you throw it? On me? -I needed one of you to catch it. -Why? Can you not carry it alone? Is it heavy? Kale asked him almost furious. That made him smile. She was the voice of the group indeed. Taking a stand while the others were listening to the answers. Finding information. And she was good at it it seemed. -It was... But I am not going to let any of you ruin it now that I know you can not even catch a thing heading your way. -What I do not understand is, why was it heading our way in the first place? -It is not for you to understand, he answered her, turning his back on them and preparing to leave. Looking at him being in such a hurry to leave, they almost panicked and prepared as well to follow him. They were all standing and ready to follow him. Of course, they would not be left alone here, in these unknown woods where the bears were living. -Are we going now? Kale asked him with some interest. -I am, he said seriously and he did not even look at the one asking him, pacing his bow over his shoulders and heading away from them. All three of them jumped to follow his tracks as if they were little children following the hunter in the woods, frightened not to get lost in the wild. -Are we not going to come with you? -I don't know. Are you? -Yess!!! -Yess! -Are you not going to take us to your king anymore? -It depends. He stopped and turned back towards them as if he was thinking seriously about that option... You can not even carry any weapon, nor fight. You are of no value to me... -We can carry weapons, one of them said. -Can you? -Yes! -You could not even catch my bow! He lifted the bow into his right hand. I have a destination I must reach as soon as possible. You can barely move around and you speak too loud, you step too laud on the ground, every living thing will hear you coming. I don't need my presence announced, and I do not like it either. So... what to do with you? -I will carry your bow. But are you not supposed to hold on to your weapons in case you need them to protect us? -Why would I protect you? You are not my responsibility. You are your brother's. They looked at each other's almost frightened. -You said you will help us talk to your king so he would not allow my brother to take us back home. I will not go back, never! You said you will help us! She knew from Silver all she needed to know in order to put the new guy in the etiquette already and not give him a chance. He was just a misogynist who did not even care about his own sister. Little sister. Silver was never like that with her. They were more than brother and sister. He was her best friend. They shared everything, their thoughts, their missions, sometimes even their horses. She saw the way this stranger insulted her father and how he behaved with her mother, paying attention to learn and not to upset her when he found out she is the king. He was smart too. She noticed he was gathering information about the kingdom, about their way of living. She did not know what was he supposed to do with that information. But one thing was clear. Something was going to happen when he will find out he can not go back into his world. And then, he will have to just adapt here. And he was not just a Warchild but he was a Crowned Prince and she knew how dangerous that would be for the entire bloodline. For her brothers and sisters and for herself too. Well, he could of just pretended to be the king himself, with no proof... What would they do? Who would believe him? And if anyone would... How would things go from there for everyone? She needed to pay attention and learn and she needed to find out fast what the members of the council think about the situation and what would they plan from now on. There was always one or two who would not be happy with the king's actions but they would always come around because her mother was so bright and she would always find a way to make things work. And even they, they knew when not to push her buttons and she was such a fair leader, that everyone would follow. not just because of fear, but because they would respect her. Everyone.
