-Great, another useless woman... he said to himself... She was standing in the sunlight, on that top of the hill, as if she was some kind of star and the show would start at any second... Her hair was long and flying in the wind, dramatically distracting him from his mission. The sun was wrapping her in golden rays that would hide her features from his gaze. He was running, and he slowed down in order to admire her. Without even noticing, he slowed down. He turned his head to just watch her standing there, on the top of that hill, like a Goddess. Her face he could not see too clearly as the sun was shining over her and her chest was wrapped in some kind of shiny armor that was shiny too and obstructing his view... But her body was slender, fit, perfectly shaped and those black leather clothes looked like they were glued to that perfect body of hers... Curves were inviting the looks to wonder... If only he was in his world... But he had a mission. He did not have time for that; he shook his head as if trying to wake up from that state she put him into; he needed to find his females.... where could they be.... damn portals and damn females.... they can't even take care of themselves, and here, in this unknown territory, wild creatures like that one on that hill might be dangerous... to them, his females, of course... he started walking, followed by his men behind him. But she was still there, scrutinizing the lands trespassed by these strangers who came out through the portal, and preparing to leave to report what she saw. He admired her from afar and something whispered in the winds that it was not such a peaceful newfound land. There were two blades in her hands, and the way they were shining in the sun drew his attention towards her again... Really? A woman who can fight? Impossible! In his world, that was just outrageous! Impossible! Women can not fight! What was I thinking? Women are weak creatures who can not even hold a blade in their hands without cutting themselves. How could one hold two at the same time? No-no-no... He must have seen it wrong. He hurried and entered the woods close by, followed by his men, checking the compass hanging from his neck. Where in Zicon could they be? Eerrgghhhh.... damn land. When they jumped into the portal that he saw his sister running away through, they did not think they could reach such a beautiful world. Almost like their own back home. Only that they did not know what danger was waiting for them here... who knew what could be dangerous, and being populated was not good. Well, it was, in a way, that he felt relieved that he knew this world could sustain life. But the life sustained in this world was what he was worried about. Human beings with weapons... His sister could not defend him... And where could she be? She left in a hurry with two of her maids, but she was of royal blood and who knows how she would be treated here... She was helpless. She could not even fry some meat on her own... how could she survive here by herself? Stupid women... The lush vegetation amazed everyone. Imposing ferns at the foot of tall trees that shaded the ground, unseen birds singing, jungle noises that startled them, everything kept them tense because they did not know what to expect in these unknown lands that could be dangerous for them. He looked at the compass again, trying to just orientate himself on this land, and decided to mark the way so they would know how to turn back here when it was time to go home. After he found his little sister, of course... Where could that little pain be? She left in a hurry after her father ordered her to meet the fiancee chosen for her. Why would she not listen? Angus was the best match for her. Was it all about the stupid things she had in her head, about love and that... There was no such thing as love... love, what was that... stupid again! She only needed a man to put food on the table and protect her while she would just give him babies. What was wrong with that? Why did she run away? He could not understand women. -Where could they be? He growled fiercely through clenched teeth, trying to think that a small, helpless woman had reached a foreign land... what would she do? He had no idea, it was impossible for him to think like that, like a small and helpless woman that he was not... -Lord, footsteps... they left trails... one of his men pointed out the obvious. Of course, he thought to himself displeased... led the way to them; they did not know how to even hide their trails... Any enemy would find them... and they were the perfect victims... damn it! -Let's hurry and find them! He ordered. -Yes, Lord! His men answered and followed him in a hurry, following the trails left by the women. They did not even enter the forest, as they heard noises nearby, and immediately hurried to go on reconnaissance. Screams and despair, as if a war had already begun without them. A few hundred meters away, another portal had opened, except that his men who had passed through this portal were already engaged in a fight with some natives. Over 20 of his men could barely cope with these natives, who were fewer but seemed very strong. And their weapons didn't seem very primitive, but did they somehow remind him of the weapons of the shadows of about two hundred years ago and better? Who were these beings? It was like they really looked like them... In a way. They were the people his father sent after them, not his loyal people, but since he was the commander here, he could say they were his. All of them. So he hurried to help them and see what it was all about. Who attacked first? And who were the natives?
