Chapter 23

98 Words
Jena, March 18th. Dear Mr. Anstruther,-It is very kind indeed of you to want to know how I am and what was the matter with me. It wasn't anything very pleasant, but quite inoffensive ***********. I don't care to think about it much. I caught cold, and it got on to my lungs and stayed on them. Now it is over, and I may walk up and down the sunny side of the street for half an hour on fine days. We all hope you are well, and that you like your work. Yours sincerely, ROSE-MARIE SCHMIDT.
