Jason and I helped the cartel increase its profits to one hundred million dollars per month. We were billing hundreds of hours for our services. Gordo asked us if we wanted to change our role in the cartel, but Jason and I were happy just being consultants. Working as consultants made it easier for us to hide our illicit activities. We continued to receive contracts from different small businesses and government agencies. This also made it much easier for us to justify our consulting services in case the IRS decided to audit us.
