29 Jason and I were working hard on our new business arrangements. I hated lying to my wife, and I told her that we had received some consulting contracts from small businesses and political parties. Jason and I worked out of our new office space on the Upper West Side. We put in serious hours and made seventy thousand during our first three months. Jason read a book a day on a range of topics from shell companies to the latest research on supply-chain management. “Ricky, come here, please. I have to show you something.” I walked into his office. He had three computer monitors and a pile of papers stacked a mile high on his desk.
