I stood in front of my mother’s office. She didn’t really need one, but uncle Eros wanted her to still have a place in the castle even if she barely went. It was at the very back of the castle, further away than any other room, and to her benefit it was the one people least visited. Which, for my mother, is the perfect place to hide away when she’s forced to be here. She had none of her elite warriors stationed in this part of the castle. She knows nobody would ever try anything on her and if they did… too bad for them. I’ve never known my mother to lose a fight. She only ever wins.
