Dora tosses in bed her mind reeling back to the man laid beside her. She tries to ignore the heat radiating from his back and focuses on how tired she feels but nothing seems to be working. She considered standing to tire herself out but that would immediately give her unease away and she wasn’t going to give her the pleasure.
She knows he’s awake too because she could hear his steady breathing, way too steady for someone that was asleep.
She hears a groan and the next moment she could feel his hot breath on her neck, close, like really close, close enough that the hairs at the back of her neck stand on end. She holds her breath hoping he’d just assume she is asleep and not fighting the urge to turn and stare at those emerald eyes.
