With the direction things were heading, Dora was scared of stepping out of her home. She didn't want the situation where she would embarrass herself in public and then become trending news for days to come.
This morning, it took her almost half an hour to decide whether she should report at work or call in sick. Calling in sick was a viable option but fearing that Alvin might start bugging her with questions, she decided to go for the former.
"I'll rather bear the wagging tongues of people in case anything happens rather than to stay back and answer his numerous questions." She muttered.
