It had been two weeks since the wedding and Chase and Josie had barely talked to each other. He had been spendera most of his time with Charlie and getting to know her while Josie was packning everything down for her years at Julliard. Guess that was the good thing about this whole mess, she didn’t have to see them together every day. Except for today.. The three of us were going to brunch and buy some last minute things for the baby.
”So I got us a table at Luca’s in fifteen so we don’t have to rush.” Charlie said as we we’re walking to the car.
”Good, cause I’m not that fast.” We all laughed at this, since I’m due in just a couple of weeks.
”We’ve noticed, it’s not exactly a secret.” Josie’s comment should have hurt more but I knew she was right. I’m huge and there was no hiding it.
