It had been two weeks since the baby died and Hailey still hadn’t woken up. Chase and my father had convinced me to spend at least an hour a day to look over the pack, one run every other day and I sleep at home and not half asleep in a chair next to her bed. I kept to door the the nursery locked since the day I trashed it, I didn’t want to have too look at it and neither should anyone else. I just wanted to forget about Hailey ever being pregnant, because if she never was pregnant their son never died before seeing the light of day and he wouldn’t be in as much pain as he was. Just the thought of telling Hailey when she wakes up broke his heart even more, if she ever woke up.
I was in the middle of signing some documents for the pack when Chase mindlinked me.
