10 “W-What?” Sam stammered as she hurried out of the elevator, bumping into the closing doors. They opened again but the two women were already making their way down the hall. Lilith paused next to a locked grey door and swiped the keycard. The pad blinked green and with a click, it unlocked. “Neat,” she whispered, slipping in without a second thought. It took Samantha a double take to make sure the hallway was empty and there were no cameras pointed at them before she slipped through the crack. Paranoid, she pressed the door firmly shut and pulled on the knob to make sure it was locked. She wished she could say this was her first time trespassing but it wasn’t.
