13 Painting the town had seemed like a great idea in the evening but when morning came and Samantha woke up feeling like something had died in her mouth, she wished they’d stayed in for a quiet night. She couldn’t remember the last time she danced or drank that much and the throbbing headache wasn’t helping her regain her memory. Desperate for some water, she rolled out of her dishevelled bed and shuffled towards the ensuite bathroom. She wondered if this was what it felt like to be a zombie. She certainly felt like she’d risen from the dead. The toilet flushed and Sam frowned. Was someone else here?
