AMAYAH’s POV: I was drowning in pain and disappointment. I followed my gaze to Kalex's mom leaving the venue. Kalex was helping her. I clung to the chair to gather strength. My knees weakened, and despite the cold around, I was sweating buckets. "Amayah, are you okay?" Cleah asked with concern, but I couldn't bring myself to look at her.
