Chapter seven.
Jennifer felt puzzled by the question. She had no idea what Carol meant by her question, neither did she understand the surprised look on her face nor the sudden outburst.
"What do you mean Carol? What's on my arm?" Jennifer asks, staring at Carol wide eyed.
"What is this, Jennifer?" Carol asks. She holds out Jennifer's left arm and points to a bruise.
Jennifer was surprised she had a bruise, she didn't notice any such thing last night whilst having her bath.
"Oh this Carol? This is nothing. I actually hit my arm on the bath tub last night whilst having a bath" Jennifer lied, trying to make light of the situation.
"If that is true, then how come you have another one there" Carol asks, pointing at her other arm.
"You hit both arms on the bath tub?" Carol quizzed, not
