Chapter eighteen.
Jennifer turns to his side. He was already fast asleep. She gets off the bed, picking up her clothes from where they lay one after the other, gets dressed, her hands wrapped round her body. She leaves his room and goes to hers for the night.
The next morning, Luca wakes up with a migraine. His head hurts from drinking too much the previous night. He still has his towel wrapped around him. He gets up and goes into the bathroom to freshen up.
Luca now has some clothes on. He wore a joggers and a polo shirt. He goes downstairs and sees Carol setting the table for breakfast with one of the maid helping her.
"Mmm, that smells delicious. Good morning Carol." He walks towards her, giving her a side hug but Carol ignores him.
