Chapter eight.
Mrs Howard arrives at the police station in a cab. She fixes her hair that's been ruffled by the wind that brushed over her face in the cab, straightens out her white polkadot blouse worn with a grey colored pants.
She makes her way in to the station, hanging her bag over her shoulder.
"Good morning sir, is inspector Lorenzo in?" Mrs Howard asks the office sitting by the counter.
"Yes ma'am. He's in his office" the male officer responds.
"Thank you" she responds, making her way to the inspectors office.
A knock is heard on the door of the inspectors office.
"Come in" a male voice called from within the office.
Mrs Howard gently opens the door and makes her way in.
"Good morning Mrs Howard, please do come in" the inspector beaconed on her.
