Chapter twenty three.
David walks back into the sitting room where he had left Jennifer. He sees her sitting upright on the couch, her hand clutching to her purse and walks up to her.
"I'm sorry about that ma'am. Tanya's like that sometimes. Just pay her no attention." David said.
"Of course." Jennifer replied, forcing a smile.
Tanya comes out on the kitchen but stands a distance away from them, an arm on her waist, she was resentful.
"Tanya? Ms Howard? I'll leave you two now." Davis said to bothe of them. He turned to Tanya and whispered the word "behave" with a stern look on his face. Tanya waved him off and turned her face away from him.
