Chapter twenty seven
Carol arrived downstairs to meet Luca drenched with sweat. He had on a black joggers, green sneakers and a towel around his neck. He stood at the foot of the stairs. "I see you had gone out for a run. You're all drenched with sweat." Carol said
Luca chuckled. "Yeah, I know. I needed to clear my head, so I left early." He replied.
"Were you up in Ms Howard's bedroom? Is she awake now?" He asked
"Yes I came from her room and yes, she's awake now." She replied.
"Is breakfast ready? I am famished." He said, placing a hand on his tummy.
"Yes breakfast is ready. I had been to your room to call you out but since you're here now, why not go freshen up first, then come down for breakfast." Carol said
"Yeah, you're right. I'll go freshen up and hurry back down for breakfa
