The Devils rumored Wife-to-be (part 2)

I walked around the mall tailing Bailey, she was really a meticulous woman. Sharp with her fashion senses, half of the things she picked for me I would never wear but if I wanted this plan Logan is helping me concoct then I have to be a new person but keep half of me. Then I just thought of this whole thing of how stupid and naivé I was. Logan, who is basically like I said a stranger brought me to a high class hotel which I just noticed in the morning when I woke up and got out of it, he left me his Black Card, he had made an appointment for me in the salon/spa, he had a driver/bodyguard for me and now a stylist who is obviously out for a new wardrobe for me to fill and let us not forget the phone. Casey obviously the man is basically as loaded as ... He is just filfthy wealthy! And it made me wonder now.. Who is Logan Sabella? I caught up with Bailey and looked around for Oli who just had our bags not too long ago. "Oliver went and loaded the bags into your car Ma'am." She smiled and I frowned. "The name is Casey and lets stick to that, please?" I smiled at her, looking at me shocked and speechless for a moment. "Oh gosh.. Okay okay.. Casey." She whispered my name like I just told her my name was Voldemort. "Okay good start, now I need to ask you some things.." I trailed off and she nodded. "Lets do this over coffee." I smiled and she did so back, I texted Oliver and told him we were sitting at Starbucks taking a break. Once I ordered my java chocolate chip frappe and her with mocha, we sat by the table next to the window. "Sooo.. What are these things you wanted to ask?" She looked at me expectantly and I just twiddled my thumbs looking down at my drink. "I need you to tell me things about Logan.. I want to know who he really is." I mumbled and she squealed like a teenager then stopped looking at me confused. "Who he really is.. as in what he does or who who he is?" she asked and I mumbled the latter. "How can you not know about Logan? Have you been living in a cave?!" She looked at me surprised and all I could just do is blink back in surprise. "Okay.. I think you kinda were." She sighed and took my phone and started typing stuff and next she handed it over to me, there she just typed his name on google and holy mackerel.. I knew his name was kind of familiar, and this just shows how naive I really was. I should've known by the time he told me his name and by the time Oli said he last name, I should've known he is.. The Logan Sabella I just read through some things and some were just obviously plain lies, he wasn't heartless and if he was I wouldn't be where I was, he may be cold but not as what they state here and worse that I've read so far was that he was The Devil. Seriously? That's so original. I couldn't take reading this anymore so I just cleared it up and left Starbucks with Bailey tailing behind me looking worried, she was about to approach me when my phone suddenly rang that it made me jump in surprise, looking down at my phone I saw his name flashing on my screen. "Hi honey! How's work?" I greeted in a sarcastic manner which made him chuckle. "Hello to you too, how's the day so far?" He asked and it wasn't sarcastic, it was genuine which made me feel bad on how I just greeted him. "Its been great, we need to talk when I get to the hotel." I mumbled and he hummed. "We're meeting up for dinner tonight remember? I already passed by the hotel earlier and packed your bags, had it brought home. Just tell Bailey we're meeting for dinner so you need an outfit so that I'll be driving us home since Oliver needs to go home too you know?" He said and then I just remembered what I read awhile ago, false I tell you. "Oh okay, yeah.. Oli needs to get his rest too, I feel bad for the man." I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Well get going then, last stop will be at the restaurant so be ready." I heard shuffling of papers and I just stayed silent for awhile thinking of those articles. Maybe he was those things but that might only be in a business sense since so far Logan has been nothing but a good man to me. "Cassandra are you still there?" he asked and I felt a smile growing at my face. "Yea still here, guess I'll see you for dinner tonight. Bye" I sighed again, a bit sad this phone call was ending. "See you tonight love, be ready." was all he said before our call cut short. Turning my heel I shoved my phone in my bag, standing there was Bailey who looked at me in awe. "Something wrong B?" I asked and waved my hand in front of her face, she took my hand in hers and looked at my face directly as if she was studying it and taking every detail to mind. "It is a pleasure working with the future Mrs. Sabella." She looked at me with wide eyes and a huge smile. This girl just creeped me out but still made me smile, basically she and Oli are my first friends. "How sure are you that I am the future Mrs. Sabella as you put it?" I chuckled and she shook her head. "Because Logan never cared for other women." She smiled and I raised a brow, that moment she spoke as if she knew him personally and I hope she wasn't who I think she was. "If you think i'm one of his so-called exes or whöres, then you are gravely mistaken. I'm actually his cousin. First cousin, mothers side." She smiled explaining, now I was the one who looked at her with wide eyes that it made her laugh so loud people looked our way. After the shopping spree for a new wardrobe that I had with Bailey, I was ready for this dinner date Logan had in mind. Dressed in a simple peach tinted dress and a pair of beige pumps I was ready to meet the man. Oliver was driving me to the restaurant and he'll be dropping the bags off at Logan's place. "Have a great night Casey, I'll see you tomorrow." giving me a genuine smile, he yet again opened the door for me like a true gentleman. "Thank you Oli, see you tomorrow indeed." I walked in the restaurant the maitre' d escorted me in as soon as I told him I was here with Mr.Sabella, he ushered me in a table that was a bit far from the public but they could still see enough from afar. There I saw Logan sitting in his suit, it was different from what he wore this morning. As soon as he landed his eyes on me he stood up and smiled, I immediately knew something was up, pulling the chair out for me I took a seat as he did so too. The waiter came out after offering the menu and we made our order, I can't help but stare at him. He did so too, his eyes were wandering and I did so back. It would be unfair if he got to ogle and I didn't so I said the one famous line I knew from books and movies at moments like this.... "Take a picture it would last longer." I smirked and he gave a loud laugh that had others turn their heads towards us. Yep, cousins. "Why should I when I have you for the rest of my life?" He smiled and I looked at him baffled, he said what now?! Oh this man had more retorts than a sarcastic child. "Speechless are you?" It was his turn to smirk and my turn to glare. The food came and heck the price on it was worth every penny when the dish was so heavenly I died twice or thrice. "So how was your day?" He asked, genuinely interested and so I did not hesitate but babble and instead of seeing annoyance I saw amusement as if he was hanging to every word I said. "How about yours?" I asked as I forked my lasagna, looking at him he looked at me back. "It was a good day, love." He answered simply. "So.. Logan Sabella huh?" I stated and it came more of a question, he looked up from his dish with a perfect brow raised. "I had my reasons Cassandra." He just said and I knew why, in his or their world. Social status is everything, especially with how deep your pockets go, that's how women work in their world. But not in mine, not me.. Nope. I would love a man for who he is and not because of his bank account. "Cassandra, that's the only name I got from you. Mind telling who is this woman I am to marry?" He asked and I choked on the wine I was drinking. We really are getting married? "I am just Cassandra, heck I could change my name right now and no one would care." I laughed bitterly, the bitter taste in my mouth spread like wildfire just remembering that the other day my fa- Hank Russell just disowned me. "How so?" He questioned, looking at me intently and awaiting for my answer for that little outburst. "I was actually disowned by my father the night you found me at the motel.." I started out, taking a deep breath and downing the glass half full of wine. "I knew something like that was bound to happen soon, I never did fit in my family. It was like I was the adopted kid..." I took the bottle of wine and poured myself the same amount I had awhile ago. "He told me to up and pack my bags, get out of his house and well forget that they were even my family." I gave a humorless laugh as I took another sip "its not like they even acted like family, so I don't really care." I looked up and there i saw him frown and glare at the utensils on the table. "That's.. Wow." He continued glaring at the utensils. "I know.. But that's life, it f***s you up." Another humorless laugh before drinking of what remained of my wine. "I'm sorry Cassandra." He took my hand from the table and kissed it, it was very intimate to me that I felt my face go red. "Its not your fault Logan.. No need to apologize in their behalf." I smiled through my almost drunken stupor. He got out of his seat, knelt in front of me and next I heard gasps from around us and small lights coming from these nosy peoples phones. "Cassandra, I know we agreed to do this out of spite and just for me to help you.. But Cassandra I will do this to protect you from life's cruelty and show you the other side of what you experienced, your hardship to luxury. Marry me and I will give you the world in a golden platter." He opened the velvet box that contained a ring that had a rock as big as a pearl, Jesus it blinded me for a moment. "Be my wife Cassandra and I will do what I promised you the other night, and more." He looked at me expectantly, and I felt the tears pool out of my eyes and I nodded like a bubble head. "Yes." I whispered and hoots and claps erupted in the restaurant. Logan stood and pulled me from my seat, securing his arm around my waist he used his other hand to bring up my hand close to his face and slipped the finger that oddly enough just fit me right. It wasn't tight and It wasn't loose. It was just right. The next morning the morning news and all those gossip shows flooded with our pictures and the video of his proposal. All wondering who is The Devils rumored wife-to-be? But its not like they can get an answer on that anytime soon.
